Candia
Is Business Friendly!
By highway, rail, air or water, not only can you get people
and products from here to virtually anywhere else, one can
do it with ease. By land, Interstate 93 is the primary access
to the town from north and south. State Highway Routes 101
and 27 provide convenient access from adjoining areas.
Air transportation offers a number of choices. Boston's
Logan Airport, the regions largest, is 50 miles to the south,
and provides both domestic and international passenger and
freight service through a variety of carriers. 15 miles east
is the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, which has undergone
a $65 million expansion, and also offers freight and passenger
service. Less than 38 miles east, Pease International Tradeport,
provides additional air service.
Transportation by water is also just 40 miles away at Port
of New Hampshire in Portsmouth. Easily accessed by truck,
highway and rail, it is the closest United States point to
Europe and the only ice-free deep water port north of Boston.
