The Town of Candia is looking for an Accounting & Payroll Specialist. Minimum qualifications: experience in municipal finance, business or related field is preferable or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates degree is desirable but not required.

Strong communication skills and ability to communicate in oral and written form and maintain effective working relationships with town departments, boards and committees and auditors.

Responsible for the accounting of appropriations, expenditures, receipts, and general ledger entries. Compiling data for state and federal reports as well as the town’s audits.

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position of 35 hours, weekdays. The current salary range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00 per hour.
