Living Simply and Producing Real Food by Flying M Farm – March 8, 2022 - Lecture Series

"Living simply & producing real food" Lecture on Mar 8

The Candia Agricultural Commission hosted a lecture series on March 8, 2022 at 7pm in the Town Hall meeting room.  Leanne Miner from Flying M Farm in Fremont discussed the benefits of “living simply & producing real food”.

Flying M Farm specializes in raising & processing chicken, duck, goose, and rabbit. Their mission is to bring a variety of good tasting farm-raised food to tables in the local community and build awareness of the homestead-farm difference.

Leanne offers a lifetime of experience and information she is willing to share with us in a question & answer type presentation on such topics as living the homestead lifestyle, local regulations, marketing, educational opportunities, networking, etc.

“Our approach is to raise healthy and happy animals in a natural environment. All our animals are fed a high-quality balanced feed that is supplemented daily from the herbs and plants grown in our gardens. Never antibiotics or post processing additives. During the growing season, our low volume/high frequency processing schedule provides plenty of opportunity for fresh unfrozen and custom cut orders. We quickly and humanely prepare natural real food for you and your family”.

You can visit Flying M Farm at 63 South Road, Fremont, NH.  Flying M Farm will also be a returning vendor at the 2022 Candia Farmers Market beginning in June!
