Candia Dollars for Scholars® Scholarships Awarded to Local Students

Candia, NH – July 2, 2019 – Candia Dollars for Scholars® recently awarded scholarships for the 2019-20 academic year to local students. The organization manages several scholarships supported by local businesses and community organizations, allowing high school seniors and current college students to earn scholarships in support of their studies at two- and four-year colleges, graduate programs, universities, community colleges and vocational schools. Shown here at the recent awards presentation are, from left: Marrysa Trudeau, recipient of the Candia Garden Club Scholarship; Trevor Jawidzik, who received the Jamie Brennan Scholarship; Laurel Thyng, recipient of the Rockingham Lodge Scholarship; Mason Thyng, who received the Candia Community Women’s Club Scholarship; Jocelyn Normand, recipient of the Jamie Brennan Scholarship; and Molleigh Wyman, named this year’s recipient of the Techs for Tomorrow Scholarship. Not pictured are Sara Drewniak, who received the Jeanne Cole Memorial Scholarship; and Megan Irving, recipient of the Four Corners Scholarship and the Ron Girard Humanitarian Scholarship.
